Ghosting bad for Recruiters Brand


Ghosting, is quite prevalent across the world, and it’s quite prevalent in India. It is a bad practice, after all if you are not interested you should let the candidate know as quickly as possible.

‘Ghosting’ or doing the disappearing act is a common expression in dating. It goes something like this: Couple meets in person, on an app or on social media. Things seem to be going well, but then one person suddenly vanishes (like a ghost). But now, job ghosting being ignored by a hiring manager after an interview is becoming a problem for candidates. A survey by the job site CareerBuilder shows six out of ten job applicants never hear back from potential employers even after an interview. Indian firms are particularly notorious.
